No. Our 5-week course is designed for complete beginners, and experienced students are welcome too. We teach the copper foil method step by step.

Five 2-hour classes, professional instruction, and use of all studio tools. Materials aren’t included but can be purchased in the studio during class; most students spend $60–$100 on the supplies they need.

Everyone starts with a beginner suncatcher or small panel designated by the studio, so you can learn each step of the process with a project sized for success.

Closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Tie back long hair, and skip loose sleeves or dangling jewelry. We provide safety glasses.

Students must be at least 12 years old. Students ages 12–15 must be accompanied by an adult; students 16 and older may attend on their own.

Make-up classes can be scheduled in any open class slot. Please complete them within 6 weeks of starting your course.

Class fees are non-refundable. If you miss a session, you can schedule a make-up class in any open slot within 6 weeks of starting your course.

Up to 10 students, so everyone gets hands-on help.
